In July, I said I was going to start a new feature that would explore great things about this country. The idea came to me because I was feeling very patriotic this past Fourth of July.
I dropped the ball and did not get it done. After reflecting on the 9-11 attacks, I felt a twinge of guilt for my laziness.
I promised the readers I would get on it and I have. The new feature will be named "America The Beautiful" in honor of the great song and this great country.
America The Beautiful will feature the following about America:
- Great moments and events of the past.
- Famous Americans, past and present.
- Not-so famous, but important, Americans.
- Great inventions.
- Little-known trivia.
- Patriotism. (This covers a lot of ground)
- Anything else that reflects this great nation.
