Day five of things I am thankful for.
Personal
Women. I will try to not sound too sexist or depraved when I explain this. I am thankful for the women in my life and the ones I've known throughout my past. I have a lot of male friends I depend on and can talk to when I need an ear, but there is something special about a woman's perspective on life. I've been fortunate to know many smart and wise women who offered me great advice. Also, when I was feeling down, it was much better getting a hug from a woman than asking for one from my friend bob.
And women are just beautiful to look at, and I don't mean like a weird guy in a trench coat at the mall. I mean you can just appreciate a beautiful woman. Their delicate features and gracious smiles. Their smell. They way they carry themselves. Their voices. everything about women is special. Whether it's a woman that you are close friends with or one you are in a relationship with.
Women has natural comfort to them I believe God put there. Women are incredible.
Michigan
Sports teams - and yes, I include the Lions. Since I have been alive, I have watched championships by the Tigers, Pistons, Red Wings, Wolverines, Spartans, and the Panthers of the old USFL. It's true the Lions haven't upheld their end of the bargain, but I love them anyway.
Sports are exciting and entertaining, but they also have a way of integrating into our lives. watching the ups and downs of my favorite teams has made life a little better.
Remember to be thankful for the good things in your lives.
