Check the archives of this blog and you will see I haven't had many nice things to write about Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm. I think there is one but you will have to look hard for it.
I believe her administration has been a miserable failure and she has no clue as to how to run this state.
I think about how this state has plunged further and further into the economic abyss under her regime and I don't know whether to get angry or cry. (Sometimes, I do both.)
Recently, the Legislature has wanted to lower taxes and give tax breaks to home buyers and families whose homes have lost value. As usual, any plan that ends in Granholm NOT taking money from our pockets gets scrapped right away.
Her response to the proposal was she won't okay any tax cuts unless there is a way to replace the money.
She is so clueless. A TAX CUT MEANS YOU GIVE THE TAXPAYERS A BREAK.
Granholm, I pray you read this: Cut taxes and SPENDING so you don't have to replace one tax with another. Now, I could go on about how your salary should be cut but I've said that countless times. And I know you would never own up to your failure as governor by giving back your salary.
Honestly, I am sick and tired of being sick and tired when it comes to her constant spending and taxing us into oblivion. I just pray the good people of this state elect a governor with common sense when Granholm's term is over. And that can't come fast enough.
