I watched President Obama on "60 Minutes" last night a his responses went something like this:
"Blah, blah, blah, Big business is evil. It was Bush's fault...blah, blah, blah. Capitalism is to blame for this economic crisis...blah, blah, blah. More troops, pulling them out, it's not my fault...blah, blah, blah."
I am so tried of President Obama in constant campaign mode. Here's some news, Mr. President, you won! Now start doing your job and stop trying to pass the blame on all your poor decisions on the past administration or Wall Street.
There was a point where he said people were mad at the banks because they are doling out big bonuses and they caused the problems.
Actually, President Obama was partially right. People are mad at the banks. However, they are also mad at the government that forced the banks to make bad loans to poor people in the name of political correctness, while Barney Frank, Nancy Pelosi and the rest of the do-nothing Congress stood around and let the system tank.
The people are also mad at President Obama for pushing an agenda no one expected when they voted for him and for the constant spending by Washington despite the fact we have no more money.
People are also mad because the President is failing to keep his promises of no more earmarks, no new taxes on middle America and transparency.
Nearly every bill has thousands of earmarks. (The President lied on that.) Tax and Trade will cripple EVERY average American family's budget. (Another lie). And where is this so-called transparency? The only thing we get out of the White House is an awful Stimulus Web site that cost millions and is filled with false information and lies.
We also get Vice President Joe Biden who says things like we need to spend money to get out of debt and the Stimulus saved millions of jobs. Whatever.
We also heard how President Obama would bring us all together and the partisan politics of the past would be over. Then, all we got from the President, the Vice President, Pelosi, and Press Secretary Robert Gibbs were insults about the Right, Conservatives, and Republicans. We also got personal attacks from the White House toward the Tea Parties. Yet, when some lunatic shoots up Fort Hood, we get the President asking us to not jump to conclusions.
This administration has shown its lacks the experience to lead. The latest interview President Obama has done shows his inability to do his job because he is too worried about his image.
Maybe we'll see some real leadership growth out of President Obama during his next dozen or so interviews, which should be done by Christmas.
