Sometimes I just have to blog about something that happens outside of Michigan. And House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is usually involved with something so ridiculous or foolish that I have to vent.

A few months ago, Pelosi lied to America - with a not so straight face I might add - about her knowledge of the "torture" of terrorists. If I can remember all her flip-flops correctly, she first claimed she knew about the waterboarding but the Bush Administration did what it wanted to do and didn't ask for permission. Then she said she didn't know waterboarding was used but was only told it could be used.

Then, in an ultimate laugher, she read - I mean stumbled through - a statement where she said the CIA "misled" her about the use of waterboarding. She said the CIA lied. And if I am correct, claiming the CIA intentionally misled Congress is a crime.

But, Pelosi has the backing of a Democratic-controlled Congress sho she doesn't have to worry about prosecution or even an investigation. And with the media falling all over themselves to hide any bad information about Liberals, there won't be much of a backlash from the public.

Pelosi is a liar and should be removed from her office. I take the word of the CIA over her any day. In fact, I think Benedict Arnold is more trustworthy than Pelosi.

The Speaker is an embarrassment to this country. If she had any dignity, she would resign, but she doesn't. So we will be stuck with her lies, nonsense and poor leadership until the voters of California remove her.

I do not hold the leader of political parties responsible for the actions of an individual so I don't hold President Obama's feet to the fire for Pelosi's lies. That would be like blaming Gov. Sarah Palin for a single idiot spewing racial venom at one of her political rallies. Oh, wait...many on the Left did just that.

Anyway, Obama ran his campaign on the promise of transparency. He was going to open things up to the public, not like Bush and Cheney who lied and covered things up. Obama also claimed he was for one America: No Left, no right. No Red States, no Blue states.

Mr. President, the Pelosi scandal is a great opportunity to show you meant what you said. Your office should DEMAND an inquiry. By letting Pelosi attack the credibility of the CIA without an attempt at getting to the truth, you are diminishing the CIA's ability to do its job.

The American people deserve at least an investigation and the CIA is owed an apology from Pelosi for her lies.
